1. The length of highway described in the schedule to this Order and indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. In this Order“the deposited plan” means a plan numbered HA10/2E/307 marked“The A134 Principal Road (Thetford to Tottenhill Trunking) Order 1989” signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.
This Order shall come into force on 1st November 1989 and may be cited as the A134 Principal Road (Thetford to Tottenhill Trunking) Order 1989.

The length of existing highway to become a trunk road is the A134 Principal Road from (and including) a point 1,750 metres north as measured along the route of the highway from its junction with Croxton Road, Thetford in the County of Norfolk, northwards to its junction with the A10 Trunk Road, at Tottenhill in the County of Norfolk (a distance of approximately 38 kilometres, measured along the route of that length of highway).
