1980 c. 20; section 6 was amended by section 30 of the Education Reform Act 1988; section 8(3) will be amended (in so far as it relates to secondary schools) by section 31(2) of that Act with effect from 1st September 1989.
1944 c. 31; subsection (1) was repealed by Schedule 6 to the Education (No. 2) Act 1986 (c. 61), subsection (2) amended by paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 to the Education Act 1980 (c. 20), and subsection (3) repealed by Schedule 6 to the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (c. 65).
