The European Parliamentary Elections (Day of Election) Order 1988

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the European Parliamentary Elections Act 19781 I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the European Parliamentary Elections (Day of Election) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st January 1989.

A general election of the United Kingdom representatives to the European Parliament shall be held on 15th June 1989.
