The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (Amendment) Order 1988

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 22(1) of the Petroleum Act 19871, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 3rd September 1988.

The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (No. 48) Order 19872 shall have effect with the deletion from the Schedule thereto of the entries set out in the Schedule to this Order.

This Order amends the Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (No. 48) Order 1987 by deleting the references relating to two installations which will accordingly cease to be protected by safety zones established by the 1987 Order.
