The Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1987

Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 13(1) and 42(1) of the Valuation and Rating (Scotland) Act 19561, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 8th May 1987.

The entry in column 2 of the Schedule to the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Order 19842 relating to the date for making valuations (in respect of the prevailing level of rents) mentioned in column 1 of that Schedule shall be amended by substituting for the words “1st July” the words “1st April”.

This Order amends the entry in the Schedule to the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Order 1984 containing the timetable for making valuations (in respect of the prevailing level of rents).

The Order amends the date for making such valuations from 1st July to 1st April in the year 2 years prior to a year of revaluation.
