The Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1987

The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 18(2) of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 19861, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
Citation and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1987.

This Order shall not apply to Scotland.

In this Order“the Act”means the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986.
Day specified for the coming into force of certain provisions of the Act2
The provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into force on 1st April 1987.
