Interpretation

3.—(1) In this Order —

“park constable” has the meaning given by section 3 of the Parks Regulation Act 1872(1); and

“the Royal Parks” means all parks, gardens, recreation grounds, open spaces and other land to which the Parks Regulation Act 1872 applies(2); and includes all roads deemed to be under the management of the Secretary of State by virtue of section 7(5) of the Crown Estate Act 1961(3).

(2) In the road traffic enactments as applied by this Order, the expression “constable” includes a park constable.
