Coming into force—

for the purposes described in article 2(1)

for all other purposes

Whereas the Local Government Boundary Commission for England, acting pursuant to sections 47 and 51(1) of the Local Government Act 19721, has made proposals to the Secretary of State for alterations in the boundary between the borough of Gedling and the district of Newark and Sherwood:

And whereas more than six weeks has elapsed since those proposals were made:

And whereas the Secretary of State has decided to give effect to the proposals:

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under sections 51(2) and 67(4) and (5) of the Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:—
