The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1), and of all other enabling powers, and after consulting the Secretary of State for the Home Department, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the A10 Trunk Road (Great Cambridge Road, Enfield) (Prohibition of Cycling and of Horse Riding in Subways) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 14th December 1987.
2. In this Order—
“Great Cambridge Road” means that length of the London—Cambridge—King’s Lynn Trunk Road (A10) in the London Borough of Enfield known as Great Cambridge Road;
“cycle” means a bicycle, tricycle, or cycle having four or more wheels, not being in any case a motor vehicle; and
“horse” includes a pony, ass, donkey or mule.
3. No person shall cause or permit to be ridden any cycle in any of the pedestrian subways and the ramps leading thereto the locations of which are specified in the Schedule to this Order.
4. No person shall cause or permit to be ridden, or shall lead, any horse in any of the pedestrian subways and the ramps leading thereto the locations of which are specified in the Schedule to this Order.

1. At a point 63 metres south of the mid point of the junction of Bullsmoor Lane with Great Cambridge Road.
2. At a point 27 metres north east of the mid point of the junction of Turkey Street with the western side of Great Cambridge Road.
3. At a point 26 metres north east of the mid point of the junction of Severn Drive with Great Cambridge Road.
4. At a point 17 metres south of the mid point of the junction of Hoe Lane with the western side of Great Cambridge Road.
5. At a point 51 metres north of the mid point of the junction of Carterhatch Lane with the western side of Great Cambridge Road.
