1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Pilot Ladders and Hoists) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 1st January 1988.
(2) The Merchant Shipping (Pilot Ladders and Hoists) Regulations 1980(1) and the Merchant Shipping (Pilot Ladders and Hoists) (Amendment) Regulations 1981(2) are hereby revoked.
