Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her in that behalf by section 7(2) of the Foreign Compensation Act 19501 and section 3(3) of the Foreign Compensation Act 19622 or otherwise in Her Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Foreign Compensation (Financial Provisions) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 18th March 1987.

The Foreign Compensation Commission shall pay into the Consolidated Fund not later than 31st March 1987 out of the compensation fund named in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Order the amount specified in Column 2 of the Schedule which is hereby determined to be the amount of the expenses of the Commission during the period 1st October 1985 to 30th September 1986 attributable to the discharge by the Commission of their functions in relation to the distribution of sums from that compensation fund.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which is made under section 7(2) of the Foreign Compensation Act 1950 and section 3(3) of the Foreign Compensation Act 1962, directs the Foreign Compensation Commission to pay into the Consolidated Fund, out of the funds paid to the Commission for the purpose of being distributed under the said Acts, an amount in respect of the Commission’s expenses during the period 1st October 1985 to 30th September 1986 in relation to the distribution of those funds.
