(This note is not part of the Scheme)

This Scheme partially revokes a Scheme made under section 11 of the Highways Act 1959 (c. 25), which provided for the construction of the Tring section of the A41(M) Watford-Tring Motorway. Together with the 1985 partial revocation Scheme this makes the entire length of former motorway, including slip roads, into all-purpose trunk road.
