The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under sections 5 and 11 of the Reservoirs Act 1975 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following regulations:—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Reservoirs Act 1975 (Registers, Reports and Records) (Amendment) Regulations 1985 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1985.
2. In Schedule 2 to the Reservoirs Act 1975 (Registers, Reports and Records) Regulations 1985 (form of the record to be kept for every large raised reservoir by the undertakers), there shall be substituted, for Part 8, the new Part 8 set out in the Schedule hereto.

The Reservoirs Act 1975 (Registers, Reports and Records) Regulations 1985 prescribed matters about which undertakers are, by section 11 of the Reservoirs Act 1975, required to keep a record. They also prescribed the information to be given about those matters and the form of the record.
These amending regulations amend the prescribed form of record to make provision for information as to the level above Ordnance Datum of the top of the dam, reservoir wall or embankment and of the top of the wave wall.
