The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 26 and 27 of the Coroners (Amendment) Act 1926 and with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Rules:—
1. These Rules may be cited as the Coroners (Amendment) Rules 1985 and shall come into operation on 30th September 1985.
2. For Form 7 in Schedule 4 to the Coroners Rules 1984 (Form of oath of juror) there shall be substituted the following Form:—

These Rules amend the Coroners Rules 1984 to substitute a revised form of oath to be taken by jurors at inquests for the form of oath set out in Schedule 4 to those Rules.
