NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, ENGLAND AND WALES

These Regulations prescribe the medical officer of the District Health Authority to whom registrars of births and deaths are to furnish particulars of births and deaths and to whom notification of births under section 124(4) of the National Health Service Act 1977 is to be given from 1st April 1982.

The Secretary of State for Social Services as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of powers conferred by section 124 of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:—
