EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Medicines (Sale or Supply) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1980 so as to provide that those medicinal capsules for human use which contain aloxiprin, aspirin, paracetamol or salicylamide and which are on the general sale list may be sold or supplied by retail elsewhere than at a registered pharmacy only in packs of 25 or less, thus making the position of such capsules the same in this respect as that of tablets containing similar ingredients.
