The effect of this change is to allow for a smaller hole to be punched in the ear of a qualifying animal. 1981 No. 751 Made 15th May 1981 Laid before Parliament 21st May 1981 Coming into Operation 22nd May 1981 The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretaries of State for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5 and 35(3) of the Agriculture Act 1957, and now vested in them and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:— Section 5 is applied to Community arrangements by section 6(3) and (4) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c. 68) and is to be read with the Transfer of Functions (Wales) (No. 1) Order 1978 (S.I. 1978/272).
