These provisions provide for matters under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 which were previously determined by the Lands Tribunal in future to be determined by a Rent Assessment Committee constituted under Schedule 10 to the Rent Act 1977 (c. 42). When constituted to make such determinations, a Rent Assessment Committee is to be known as a Leasehold Valuation Tribunal. 1981 No. 119 (C.2) HOUSING, ENGLAND AND WALES The Housing Act 1980 (Commencement <Abbreviation Expansion="Number">No.</Abbreviation> 7) Order 1981 Made 2nd February 1981 The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 153(4) and section 151(1) of the Housing Act 1980 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:— 1 This order may be cited as the Housing Act 1980 (Commencement No. 7) Order 1981. 2 The provisions of the Housing Act 1980 specified in the Schedule to this order shall come into operation on 31st March 1981.
