The Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them jointly by section 38(3) of the Mines and Quarries (Tips) Act 1969, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order as follows:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Mines and Quarries (Tips) Act 1969 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1969.
2. Part II of the Mines and Quarries (Tips) Act 1969, in its application to England and Wales, shall come into operation on 30th June 1969.
