The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in pursuance of the power conferred upon Her by section 7(3) of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to other, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
1. Sections 1, 2, 4 and 6 of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963 shall extend to the Isle of Man subject to the modifications specified in the Schedule to this Order.
2. This Order may be cited as the Oaths and Evidence (Isle of Man) Order 1965 and shall come into operation on 1st June 1965.

1. In section 1 for the words “United Kingdom” there shall be substituted the words “Isle of Man”.
2. For section 4(2) there shall be substituted the following subsection:—
“(2) Where the said Act of 1856 is so extended, section 1(4) of the Perjury Act 1952 (an Act of Tynwald) shall apply accordingly.”.
This Order extends to the Isle of Man certain provisions of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963 which provide for the administration of oaths, the doing of notarial acts and the taking of evidence for the purpose of international tribunals.
