SECOND SCHEDULEADAPTATIONS, MODIFICATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS TO BE MADE IN THE APPLICATION OF THE ACT TO THE TERRITORY

In sub-section (2) of section 5—
a
for the words “a constable”
there shall be substituted the
words “a member of the police force of the Territory”
;
b
for the words
and figures “section thirty-eight
of the Summary Jurisdiction Act, 1879
”
there shall be substituted
the words “any law of the Territory”
;
c
for the words “a court of summary jurisdiction”
, wherever
they occur, there shall be substituted the words “a
court of the Territory”
;
d
for the words “the said section thirty-eight”
there shall
be substituted the words “the law of the Territory”
.

Sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 5 shall be omitted.
