Reduction of allowance during re-employment in England and adjustment of rights thereafter10
In regulation 25 (which relates to reduction of superannuation allowances during re-employment and adjustment of rights thereafter) for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—

In any such case as aforesaid—
a
the superannuation allowance shall be deemed to be an allowance to which subsection (2) of section 31 of the English Act applies;
b
the service in respect of which the allowance was granted shall be reckonable as service for the purpose of determining whether the person is entitled to become an English contributory employee or an English local Act contributor; and
c
regulations made under the said subsection shall apply accordingly with any necessary modifications including the modification that references to a local authority or an authority shall be construed as if they included references to a Scottish local authority or a Scottish authority respectively, and that references to the English Act and to the English benefits regulations shall be construed as if they included references to the corresponding provisions of the Scottish Act and the Scottish benefits regulations.
