(2)[F2Section 52 of the M1Friendly Societies Act 1974] shall in respect of contributing to the funds and taking part in the government of a medical society, that is to say, a society for the purpose of relief in sickness by providing medical attendance and medicine, extend to any registered trade union or branch of a registered trade union.
(3)A registered . . . F3 trade union or branch shall not withdraw from contributing to the funds of any such medical society except on three months notice to the society and on payment of all contributions accrued or accruing due to the date of the expiration of the notice.
