Byelaws E+W+S

[F1 47Penalties may be imposed in byelaws. E+W+S

Any such byelaw may impose reasonable penalties for offences against the same, not exceeding [F2 level 1 on the standard scale]] for each offence, with or without further penalties for continuing offences, not exceeding for any continuing offence [F3 50p] for every day during which the offence continues; but all byelaws shall be so framed as to allow in every case part only of the maximum penalty being ordered to be paid.
