functions, or taking measures specified in the notice as the case may be, and</Text></P3para></P3><P3 DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/Geo6/2-3/31/section/62/1/b" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/Geo6/2-3/31/section/62/1/b" id="section-62-1-b"><Pnumber>b</Pnumber><P3para><Text>any local authority . . . <CommentaryRef Ref="c610189"/> may permit any other local authority having any civil defence functions to use, for the purpose of discharging any of those functions, any lands or buildings owned by, leased to or under the control of the first-mentioned authority,</Text></P3para></P3><Text>and the provisions of this subsection shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in any Act (including a local or private Act) or any ChangeId="d29p849" CommentaryRef="c610190"><Addition ChangeId="d29p856" CommentaryRef="c610191"><Addition ChangeId="d29p867" CommentaryRef="c610193">billing authority or precepting authority, as
