4 Transfer of certain functions of the Governor and of the Land Purchase Trustee to the Ministry.
There shall be transferred to and performed by the Ministry—
(a)
the functions of the Governor of Northern Ireland under section twenty of the Act of 1903; and
(b)
the functions of the Land Purchase Trustee for Northern Ireland in respect of sums transferred to him under section twenty-seven of the Act of 1925 and of any sums which before the passing of that Act had been set apart as a fund for purposes in Northern Ireland similar to the purposes mentioned in that section.
