4 Application to Scotland.U.K.

In the application of this Act to Scotland—

[F1(a)the expression “company” includes a limited partnership;]

(b)any reference to [F2an estate falling to be administered in accordance with an order under section][F3421 of the Insolvency Act 1986], shall be deemed to include a reference to an award of sequestration of the estate of a deceased debtor, and a reference to an appointment of a judicial factor, under section [F411A of the Judicial Factors (Scotland) Act 1889], on the insolvent estate of a deceased person.
