(1)This Act may be cited as the Celluloid and Cinematograph Film Act, 1922, and shall come into operation on the first day of October, nineteen hundred and twenty-two.
(2)This Act shall not apply to the administrative county of London or to the city and royal burgh of Glasgow.
(3)The Secretary of State may by order direct that any provisions of the [11 & 12 Geo. 5. c. lxxiv.] Liverpool Corporation Act, 1921, relating to the keeping, storing or manipulation of celluloid and cinematograph films shall cease to have effect as from such date as may be fixed by the order, but so long as those provisions continue to have effect this Act shall not apply to the city of Liverpool.
