The power of [F1the Secretary of State under section 659 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 to determine] the annual or other sums to be paid out of the General Lighthouse Fund in respect of the establishment of the general lighthouse authorities, shall extend to [F2determining] the annual or other sums to be paid out of that fund to members of the general lighthouse authority for England and Wales, and the sums so [F2determined] shall have effect notwithstanding anything in any Act limiting the amount thereof.

This Act may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Amendment) Act 1920, and shall be included amongst the Acts which may be cited together as the Merchant Shipping Acts 1894 to 1920.
