Subsection (3) of section one hundred and seventy-seven shall not apply to any notice served under subsection (8) of section thirty of the Act of 1947 before the said twenty-ninth day of August; and subsection (4) of section one hundred and seventy-seven shall not apply to any notice served before that day under subsection (1) of section thirty-three of that Act.
