This Act extends to England and Wales and Scotland.

This section comes into force on the day on which this Act is passed.

Sections 1 and 2 and the Schedule come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which this Act is passed.

Section 3 comes into force on such day as the Secretary of State appoints by regulations made by statutory instrument.

This Act may be cited as the British Sign Language Act 2022.
