I14Construction products with designated standards or technical assessments

Provision under paragraph 3(a) (designated standards) may include provision—

a

for the designation by the Secretary of State of standards prepared in accordance with the regulations or the 2011 Regulation;

b

for the designation by the Secretary of State of EU harmonised standards or international standards;

c

for EU harmonised standards or international standards to be designated standards.

Provision under sub-paragraph (1)(a) may include provision as to—

a

the persons by whom standards may be proposed;

b

the procedure by which and persons by whom standards are to be prepared;

c

the matters to be covered by a standard.
