Construction products regulations may make provision for and in relation to standards for safety-critical products (“safety-critical standards”).

Provision under sub-paragraph (1) may include provision as to—
a
the persons by whom safety-critical standards may be proposed;
b
the procedure by which and persons by whom safety-critical standards are to be prepared;
c
the matters to be covered by a safety-critical standard.
