(1)

Section 43 (confidentiality of proceedings) is amended as follows.

(a)

in paragraph (b) after “(investigations)” insert “or paragraph 7 of Schedule 3 (functions of the OEP in Northern Ireland)”;

(b)

after paragraph (c) insert—

“(ca)

made for purposes connected with the co-ordination of the OEP’s functions that relate to investigations under paragraph 7 of Schedule 3 and the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman’s functions that relate to investigations by the Ombudsman;”;

(c)

(d)
