Section 18 provides for the commencement of the provisions in the Trade Act. The general provisions in Part 5 will come into force on the day on which the Act becomes an Act of Parliament. The specific provisions in Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 will come into force on days appointed by a Minister of the Crown by commencement regulations.
