Any request made by the PIU to an EU PIU for PNR information must be—

a

made only for the purpose described in regulation 6(3)(a),

b

made in respect of a specific case, and

c

duly reasoned.

Any request made by the PIU to a third country competent authority for PNR information must be—

a

made only for a purpose described in regulation 6(3),

b

made in respect of a specific case, and

c

duly reasoned.
