2 Amendment of the Census Act (Northern Ireland) 1969 N.I.

(1) The Census Act (Northern Ireland) 1969 is amended as follows.

(2) In the Schedule (matters in respect of which particulars may be required), after paragraph 7 insert—

“7A Sexual orientation.

7B Gender identity.”

(3) In section 7 (penalties for offences), in subsection (3), after “profession” insert “ or any particulars with respect to sexual orientation or gender identity ”.
