This Act extends to England and Wales only, subject to subsection (2).

Section 5 and this section extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

This Act may be cited as the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration etc) Act 2019.
