117 U.K. The National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006 is amended as follows.

118 (1) Section 201C (provision of information about medical supplies: supplementary) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (2), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”.

(3) After subsection (3) insert—

“(4) In this section, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).”

119 U.K. In paragraph 7B(3) of Schedule 1 (further provision about the Welsh Ministers and services under the Act), for “has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ has the same meaning as in Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(4) and (14) of that Act) ”.
