95 U.K. The Criminal Justice Act 2003 is amended as follows.

96 U.K. In section 327A(9) (disclosure of information about convictions etc of child sex offenders to members of the public), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”.

97 U.K. In section 327B (disclosure of information about convictions etc of child sex offenders to members of the public: interpretation), after subsection (4) insert—

“(4A) “The data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).”
