(1)
The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 is amended as follows.

In section 60 (which currently makes provision about the tape-recording of interviews)—
(a)
in subsection (1), in each of paragraphs (a) and (b), for “tape-recording” substitute “
audio recording
”
;
(b)
in the heading of the section, for “Tape-recording” substitute “
