SCHEDULE 1Further amendments: advanced quality partnership schemes

(1)

Section 6A (applications for registration where restrictions are in force) is amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (1), in paragraph (a)—

(a)

after “section” insert “ 113D(1) or ”;

(b)

after “case of” insert “ an advanced quality partnership scheme or ”.

(3)

In subsection (8), in paragraph (c), after “section” insert “ 113J(4) or (5) or ”.

(4)

In subsection (12)—

(a)

at the appropriate place insert—

““advanced quality partnership scheme” means a scheme under section 113C of the Transport Act 2000;”;

(b)

for the definition of “registration criteria” substitute—

““registration criteria”—

(a)

in relation to an advanced quality partnership scheme, means the criteria specified in the scheme by virtue of section 113D(3) of the Transport Act 2000;

(b)

in relation to a quality partnership scheme, means the criteria specified in the scheme by virtue of section 114(3C) of the Transport Act 2000;”;

(c)

in the definition of “relevant operator”, in paragraph (a), after “section” insert “ 113J(4) or (5) or ”.
