40Restrictions on practice and protected titles
The Secretary of State may by regulations impose prohibitions or restrictions in connection with—
a
the carrying out of social work in England;
b
the use, in relation to social work in England, of titles or descriptions specified in the regulations;
c
the holding out of a person as qualified to carry out social work in England.
