The Serious Crime Act 2007 is amended as follows.

In section 68(4)(b) (disclosure of information to prevent fraud) for “Part 1 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (c. 23)” substitute “ any of Parts 1 to 7 or Chapter 1 of Part 9 of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 ”.

In section 85(8)(b) (disclosure of information by Revenue and Customs) for “Part 1 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (c. 23)” substitute “ any of Parts 1 to 7 or Chapter 1 of Part 9 of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 ”.
