This paragraph applies where an application has been made under paragraph 5 for an illegal working compliance order.

The court may adjourn the hearing of the application for a period of not more than 14 days to enable any person who has an interest in the premises to show why an illegal working compliance order should not be made.

If the court adjourns the hearing it may order that the illegal working closure notice continues in force until the end of the period of adjournment.
