Section 26 (interpretation) is amended as follows.

After subsection (1) insert—
“(1A)
In this Part, “strategic highways company” means a company for the time being appointed under Part 1 of the Infrastructure Act 2015.”

In subsection (3)—
(a)
in the first column of the table, at the appropriate place insert “

”
