In section 193 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 (general lighthouse authorities etc) at the end insert—
“(6)
In subsection (1) references to the seas include seas in an area specified by virtue of section 129(2)(b).”
(2)
In section 255C (locating and marking wrecks)—
(a)
at the end of subsection (4) insert “
(and for this purpose a general lighthouse authority has the powers conferred by section 253 throughout their area)
”

omit subsection (5).
(3)
In section 255F (removal in default) omit subsection (4).
