Mental Health Act 1983 (c. 20) E+W

2 (1) Section 37(1A) of the Mental Health Act 1983 (powers of courts to order hospital admission or guardianship) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) Before paragraph (a) insert—

“(za) under section 1A(5) of the Prevention of Crime Act 1953,”.

(3) After paragraph (a) insert—

“(aa) under section 139AA(7) of the Criminal Justice Act 1988,”.
