21 (1) Section 244 (duty to release prisoners) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) Omit subsection (2).

(3) In subsection (3)—

(a) omit paragraphs (b) and (c);

(b) in paragraph (d), omit “none of which falls within paragraph (c)”.
