(1)

The Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 is amended as follows.

(2)

In section 21 (controlled activity relating to children), in subsection (4), after “Education Act 2002)” insert “ or a 16 to 19 Academy ”.

(3)

In section 59 (meaning of “vulnerable adults”), in subsection (3), after paragraph (d) insert—

“(e)

a 16 to 19 Academy which provides accommodation for children.”
